After a difficult start to 7th grade at a traditional school, we decided to move our 7th grader to VLP. They are  thriving academically in the smaller setting, and have become completely independent in their daily responsibilities. Mrs. Guzman is the absolute BEST and has the best energy. The VLP program is the best! All the teachers are amazing. My eldest daughter is in Mr. Alameda’s class. I have never seen a teacher who is so committed to his student’s success and wanting them to be the best they can be. His teaching style engages the students and makes them want to learn, but in a fun way. My daughter easily said Mr. Alameda is her favorite teacher. Even for the Ted Talks, which can be in person, he always shows up to support his students, weekend or not a weekend. If you want your child to succeed and have teachers who are passionate about what they do, the VLP program is for you!

VLP has been a blessing to us. I chose to put my son in this program because I wanted him to have a better education and he has in the past 6 years. My son has been in VLP since kindergarten and my other son who is already a sophomore in high school was in the program for 4 years as well. VLP has helped my sons become self-sufficient, self motivated, independent, and obtain skills like time management, responsibility, and organization. I have recommended this program to many people.
